What ALM and QA Management Mean in Regulated Software

Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) is the practice of managing software from idea through requirements, development, testing, release, and maintenance as one connected lifecycle; QA management is the discipline within it that plans, executes, and evidences testing. In regulated software, both matter because you must prove — not just perform — that requirements were built, tested, and released under control. This is a plain-language explainer.
